Is it the end or the beginning?

I have attended 2 weddings on last weekend and another 4 coming on December, what a busy schedule.

And again the usual question will be popped up by friends
"so when is your big day?", "don't be too long in a relationship lah, just ended you journey by marrying him/her" errrrr.....

Something tickles me, why people think marriage is the end of the journey?

I would agree if they say it as the end of a single life, but it's not the end of the life journey.
I think, marriage is just the beginning of another journey, beginning of another phase of life.

Talked to a friend couple days ago and asked her question whether she feels that her life is complete now after married and deliver a cute baby boy, but she said she didn't quite feel that way.
She just feels composed, as she has achieved some of her goals, but then she has to achieve another goals like how to raise my boy to be a better person than his parents, can I raise him the way I want him to, can I support him for whatever he wants in life, can I always be by his side until the day he married and so many questions and goals to be achieved.

Witnessing so many divorces in my close circle and society, makes me believe that marriage is only the beginning of another phase of life not the end, until you spend the rest of your life only with him/her and you literally close your eye when the death comes on his/her arm.

I don't even believe that death is the end of our journey, but again, I wouldn't know until I die.

There are risks in every aspect of life, including marriage and divorces. As painful as it can be, still it adds colors to our lives.

Well, my point is that don't be afraid to take risks. It's part of life and it's part of the process toward happiness.

Coming from a divorced person, I think marriage is the end of your life :)
