Taxi TV

Took a taxi after work last night, this was not the usual taxi I & my company use.

This taxi pretty new in town, they currently only have 50 cars to cover Jakarta area. How do I know this? Because I asked the taxi driver, I asked many questions last night :))

The best thing with this taxi is the Satellite TV!

Oh yeah... They have satellite TV in every car, not only local channel but they also have cable channels. How cool is that? It's pretty damn cool for a taxi.

So for the first time during this rainy season (traffic jam in rainy season is the worst) I don't feel irritated stuck in traffic jam, because I still can enjoy American Idol while stuck in the traffic jam.

I think all taxi companies should provide satellite TV in each of their car. I bet Jakartans will be very happy because we have something else to distract from the traffic jam. Traffic jam in Jakarta could happen for hours and hours and hours *sigh*

For a little information, I heart Simon Cowel. Since the first time I lay my eyes on him, meaning American Idol season 2 because we in Indonesia missed the first season.

On the contrary, I love Simon Cowell more than the other 2 judges. Paula Abdul always talks in flowery words which sound meaningless sometimes. I like his British accent and his frankness although it sounds rude to some. Strange, I always like people that others find irritating such as Simon Cowell, Jose Mourinho and Sir Alex Ferguson.

Elyani: that is the same reasons why I heart Simon Cowell... I dearly love him for his honesty and thick Brit accent :))

hehehe...I thought you meant "hate" and heart is a typo. I thought 'heart' is a noun? Maybe my English understanding is below yours...hehehe!

When I was in the city, I took a taxi like three times a day. I hear that Simon is really a nice guy! I even had a personal story where a friend said he was a gentlemen at the airport in Manchester

Elyani: yes heart is a noun but I use it as a slang to refer about love :))

Mrs Mogul: Really? Simon is a nice guy? Tell me tell me tell me more about him :)

I should try grabbing the taxi on some particular packed traffic hours and particular good programme ...

Have they taken their "TRY ME FOR FREE" stickers on some of their units? That'd be even nicerrrr ..

@ Silverlines: I didn't see that "TRY ME FOR FREE" stickers, should check it out next time

They did have several weeks ago, when anyone who hopped in the taxi did not have to pay. But maybe it was for their promotional thingy. They even gaveaway a box of snacks for their first 10 customers every morning.

Now speaking of marketing, you'd be surprised to know who owns the company, though.

@ Silverlines: I do know the owner, I asked many questions to the driver that night :)

That person wants to widen his business empire huh...

Slowly but surely.
