Came across to this site and read about this news. Maybe it's old news but still interesting to talk about. The reason why he divorce his wife is because he's in love with other woman and they already have a daughter together.
I also heard about a friend of mine is waiting for final decision of her divorce process of 10 years marriage.
Reason why, her husband is in love with other woman.
He really wants to be caught because he put his girlfriend's picture in his mobile phone and he tattooed his girlfriend's name on his arm.
My friend finally acknowledged that her husband has introduced his girlfriend to his mom and also his family knew about that girl, so she's the one who doesn't have any clue about what's going on.
The main reason why they married at the first place was love, but why along the way the love disappear?
And even though the love is still in there it involves someone else.
How come the passionate love can vanish just like that?
What makes a marriage could last forever?
I guess, no one knows the answer because marriage is gamble, you wouldn't know what you get until you're in it.

I couldn't agree more! ;)
Ecky, there are a lot of things that go into making a marriage work, and each relationship is different. What may work for certain couple, may not work for other. But I think the very foundation of a good relationship should be started with "commitment".
Commitment to love and respect for who he/she is, commitment for open communication and honesty, commitment to never acting out of negativity, etc...
Ecky : Yup, can't agree more than you. But there's several things to still win the game, at least, we should maintain the communication with our partner, otherwise the love will vanish like dust.
We tend to forget that actually the passionate love that we know were not the same passionate love. It was several years ago.
Along our marriage life, we changed. There are several issue on our plates, like kids, social life, our view of life ...
Therefor, as long as we can keep the communication as before, probably, the same love still there.
Hm ... looks like my grandma given me her advice :-p
Ugh...divorce and infidelity is just so tragic. I've seen this happen so many times, and after decades of marriage...It often makes me wonder if marriage really is a crap shoot.
hey there :)
thanks for stopping by my blog....
remember to bring lots of warm and cozy things with you when you visit canberra...brr june is very very cold, but still beautiful!
oh and i've never been married.
I'd like to be one day with a person that I feel is 'right'.
It is really horrible to hear such news. Just as Elyani said, it is all about commitment. Commitment is taken for granted now-a-days and it is very easy to say "I don't love so and so any more"....seesh!
Hope this changes(which can only be done when people don't take marriage to granted)
uummmm...this is hard....no experience yet....
but maybe one reason why marriage last forever is children...if the parents really love their children, they should realize and have a will to make a happy family..not being a selfish...
Your quote about "marriage is gamble, you wouldn't know what you get until you're in it" remembered me with my mother. She said that too to me :-)
I'm agree with Elyani that there are a lot of things that go into making a marriage work, and each relationship is different.
In my opinion what makes a marriage work are commitment, respect and open communication
